Our Process

1) Onboarding

When you sign up for a Wayne Website, there's a transparent agreement between both parties, detailing the expectations and scope of the project. Before we can do that, we collaborate with you to determine your specific needs to tailor and define the project. We work with you to make this project your own, and encourage as much or as little input as you're comfortable with.

2) Requirements

After we've defined our high-level goals, it's time to work out the specific requirements so that everyone involved has a clear grasp on the work being done. This starts with a "kick-off" meeting to discuss example work, the tone or mood desired, sample content and media, layout specific goals, and discuss domain and hosting options.

3) Marketing Strategy

A website is the hub of your inbound marketing strategy, but without additional marketing campaigns it will not be able to gain significant traction to generate a return on investment. Whether you're strategy is to use paid ads like Google and Facebook, email blasts, social media posts, or organic search engine optimization to drive traffic to your hub, the structure of your website needs to reflect this.

We discuss your overall marketing goals and strategies up front to capitalize on that with your new website.

4) Creative

The content of your website should reflect who you are as a company, as well as the outward mood and tone you want to convey to your customers. A well-structured inbound marketing strategy holds content at its core. In this phase we collect all of the pictures, media, and copy for your site. If you don't have these, don't sweat it! We can help generate the new content that will reside as your website using step-by-step worksheets to guide you in the process.

We set up a dropbox where all your content can be transferred, stored, and eventually added to your site. Once the content is collected, we can kick-off the design phase!

5) Design Review

Using all the information you've provided so far, it's time to lock down your design. This is an iterative process where we draft your design according to your specific requirements, and you provide feedback for design improvements. Once we've incorporated your comments, we present the final design, demonstrating how we plan to meet your requirements.

6) Development

This is where the sausage gets made. Using your chosen design, our team ramps up to provide all of the technical details of your site, on the frontend and backend. This also tends to be the lengthiest phase, so we ensure that you're kept in the loop on our progress every step of the way.

7) Feature Integration

Depending on your overall inbound marketing strategy, your website is going to need some additional code hooked up to it. Don't worry, we assist in this process the whole way, ensuring your website's capability to capture and collect all of its relevant data.
We setup analytics and tracking codes like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, email signups, contact forms, and the Facebook Tracking Pixel.
We setup the connections between your social media sites, making it easy for visitors and Google to see your social networks.
We setup app usability and mobile blogging capabilities, so you can add blog posts to your website anytime, anywhere. We do all this, and more!

8) Website Testing

Development can sometimes be a crazy process, but everything always comes together! To make sure the website functions as well as it looks, we typically test that your website goes live, is fully secure, all links function, and any tags that we've agreed to place on your site are working.

9) Reviews and Referrals

Now that we're wrapping up your new Inbound Marketing Platform, we usually ask for you to grade us on our performance with a short survey. If you're willing, we ask for a public rating on Facebook or Google (since this is a ranking factor) and we discuss how we provide referral bonuses to everyone that was impressed with our services and might refer us to their friends.

10) Maintenance and Support

After all your requirements are met, and you're satisfied with your new website, we move into the maintenance and support phase. We host and monitor your website to ensure it stays live and secure, and provide support for any further questions you have. We also support with any additional ongoing development you need for your website.
